How to Connect Your Facebook Account to GrowMetrics

How to connect your Facebook account and common troubleshooting tips.

This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to connect your GrowMetrics account to Facebook, enabling you to get the most out of GrowMetrics. Below that, you will also find solutions to common issues encountered during the setup process.

How to Connect Your Facebook Account

  1. Starting on the GrowMetrics Dashboard, on the bottom left of your screen, click on the green account connections icon.

  1. Click on "Add Facebook account" to connect, you will then be redirected to log into to Facebook.

To connect your Facebook account to GrowMetrics, you'll need to log in using your personal Facebook account. This is necessary because your business assets (Facebook page, Instagram account, and Ad account) are all linked to your personal account.

Rest assured, GrowMetrics will not access any personal information from your profile. The permissions you grant only allow GrowMetrics to interact with the business assets you choose to share. Your personal profile remains private and untouched.

  1. Login using your Facebook credentials, once logged in you will have the option to choose the business assets you with to connect to GrowMetrics.

    note: it's important to select ALL of the business assets you wish to connect to GrowMetrics, particularly if you plan on using multiple business spaces for multiple businesses. Although you grant access to GrowMetrics for all relevant assets at this stage, the app will not access any of these assets until you toggle them specifically within the app.

  1. Select the Business Manager, Facebook page & Ad accounts you would like to share permissions to GrowMetrics.

Once you have verified your connection, you will be redirected back to GrowMetrics.

Click on the blue arrow on your Facebook connection to see your available Facebook Pages and Ad Accounts, you can now toggle your desired assets. You can do the same for your Instagram profiles, if you don't see your desired Instagram accounts, see troubleshooting steps here.
