OVERVIEW

When you access the drive, you will see the above layout.

  1. Name - The name column refers to the file name. 

  2. Description - The description column refers to the description of the file

  3. Alt text - The Alt text column refers to the alt text for the file. 

  4. File controls - The controls under this column give you the options to copy, edit or delete your uploaded content.

ACCESSING THE DRIVE

  • Login to your GrowMetrics portal

  • Select ‘Drive’ on the left pane

  • This will navigate you to the Drive page

CREATE A FOLDER

This option allows you to create folders to store multiple files seperately. (Eg: Carousel images). This feature also enables better organisation of files.

  • Go to the Drive page on your GrowMetrics portal

  • Click on the ‘Create a folder’ button on the top right corner of the page

  • Enter the folder name, description and other details. Click on Save

These steps should assist you in creating a new folder.

UPLOAD FILES

This option allows you to upload the files to the drive.

  • Go to the Drive page on your GrowMetrics portal

  • Click on the ‘Upload’ button on the top right corner of the page

  • Select the file to be uploaded and update the file details such as the name, description and alt text

  • Click on ‘Save’

These steps should assist you in uploading a new file to your portal.


FILE CONTROLS

This refers to the edit, copy, and delete options available as controls on each file row.

  • EDIT - This option allows you to edit the name, description or alt text of the file uploaded

  • COPY - This option allows you to create a copy of the file uploaded

  • DELETE - This option will enable you to remove the file uploaded

HELPFUL HINTS:

  • Categorising files based on projects, dates, or relevance can simplify retrieval.

  • Use the search bar to locate specific pieces of content instantly. It's a time-saving feature that ensures you can find what you need quickly and effectively.

  • Streamline your workflow by selecting multiple files or folders and applying actions simultaneously. This can be achieved via the use of checkboxes.

  • Utilise the drive with the scheduler to plan and automate your content posting. Save time and ensure a consistent online presence.
